
Bonnie
Ashby Hughes is the founder and principal of A & H Financial
Planning & Education, Inc. Bonnie, a CFP® licensee
since 1992, has been working in financial services including
taxation, cost analysis, and financial planning since 1981.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Family Economics & Management
and a Master of Science in Financial Planning.
As
part of Bonnie's passion to increase financial literacy, she
devotes up to 10% of her time in service to under served populations.
Community service work has included serving as the Retirement
Planning speaker for Georgia's Secretary of State, Cathy Cox's
2 year Investor Education series, 'Money Counts', staffing
the NBC Today Show Consumer Finance Hotline for both NAPFA
and FPA and the Kiplinger's Personal Finance Magazine hotline
for NAPFA.
Bonnie
has been quoted in many national and local publications including
The Wall Street Journal, Money Magazine, Fortune, Atlanta Journal-Constitution,
Business Week online, and others. Additionally, Bonnie has had a white
paper accepted by the National Endowment for Financial Education
(NEFE) in 2003.
